Festival Capforcha - à la croisée des chemins

1st Festival Capforcha - at the crossroads. The theme of this first edition will be "Culture, Biodiversity and Resistance - a cultural exchange between the indigenous Xavante people and the Occitan culture of Périgord".
The Festival will be a privileged space for dialogue between the two cultures, and its program will be woven around the ancestral links of the two cultures to the biodiversity of the territory in which they are embedded. Daytime activities will include workshops, discussions and knowledge-sharing, while evening events will include film screenings, readings of Xavantes and Occitan tales and myths, a concert, traditional dance and a ball.
